Graham Beare

Vice Chairman

He brings a refreshing perspective to the traditional world of consulting – he walked the talk first: As President of the Holo-Krome Division of Danaher Corporation – a Fortune 500 company – with three U.S. plants and two international subsidiaries; followed by three years as President of Kuhlman Electric Corporation with responsibility for four U.S. manufacturing facilities.

Graham understands the challenges leaders face; he lived it for 20 years and he understands the complexity from the inside. He offers first-hand experience in managing the dynamics of change, of merging organizations, building organizations, of developing successful cultures and of dealing with the tough issues organizations face during rapid change. He adds an uncluttered view of business issues and can be counted upon to help organizations develop practical solutions to real world issues.

Graham has also developed a reputation as the objective sounding board for leaders as they go through the transition of turning their businesses into Lean Organizations. Having made the journey himself, and worked with leading Lean practitioners and the Japanese and North American Lean consultants who help them, Graham has the inside track on the power and the pitfalls of Lean.

Graham was educated in the U.K. and holds degrees in Electrical Engineering and Business.

Graham joined Managerial Design in 1995 and is based in Georgetown, Kentucky.
